Review: Avengers: Age of Ultron

So today, it was my partners birthday (and his twins!) and we went to see the newest Avenger's film.

In all fairness I was pretty disappointed at the beginning, it just seemed to drag, I mean it was great meeting two new people with potential; but I felt the only time the movie started to pick up was when the Avenger team was at the party.

Overall I love the humour it entails, and some of the 'soppy' scenes but mainly I loved how the characters all intermingle.

Most people know of my love for the Hulk, and Mark Ruffalo! Even from the first films the Hulk has always been my favourite hero/avenger. I am known to have a bad temper sometimes and this is why people often say things like " Rosie SMASH Rosie BASH!" But things about the Hulk hit very close to home. I've always felt like I was some kind of monster doomed to walk the Earth alone, but lucky; I know I'm not a monster haha, but it's just the very idea in which I felt connected to his character.

As for the other characters:

Hawkeye - He really surprised me in the film with his beautiful family and the way he managed to keep them secret and safe for so long. Also the wittiness from his character is not always seen by everyone else. I feel like a lot of people find him, useless and boring but in this film he really proved his worth.

Quick Silver - I am disappointed how they have in the filming world of Marvel duplicated a character unnecessarily. Everyone know of the Quick Silver in the X-men film, but to make another seemed pretty pointless and pretty irrational. Otherwise I quite like this character in this film (although I by miles prefer the X-men quick silver), feel like because he was technically two of one whole that he was connected to someone with (his sister) and made him as a lovely older brother (which again I hit home with, with my brothers) so even though he's not my favourite Quick Silver but I still have a soft spot for him.

Black Widow- She's a pretty cool character. I've enjoyed seeing her back story a bit more, and it makes me what to read more into it. (I love back stories it is my weakness in a way). But I also share he love for the Hulk.

Captain America- I love how old fashioned he is, for example the whole joke in the film to him was about Tony Stark swearing and his response of "Langauge" but it was interesting to see how his character developed and you would feel how lost his character gets when most vulnerable.

Iron Man- As always he is cocky and full of himself but still as comical as every. His character never really changes as he is consumed by greed to create more and more.

Thor- I love how Thor is old school with history and the Gods, he follows the old ways as it were and keeps on the best path possible.

Pretty much my view on this film :)
