Future design plans

So As the title suggests......

I've decided to work on my future designing stuff for people!

Currently my "thing" is portraits (as always!), but I'll be looking into some art trades and I do need MODELS for these portraits I am planning on mastering this!

(Here are my latest beauties)

The top one is a lady I have on my instagram (who gave me permission to draw her!) called @cazziecake, she's pretty cool and is a cosplayer!

The second is my bae. One of my besties called Amie (she actually has an account on here which I shall mention in a future post!) her instagram is @amizzled she is a cosplayer, wig guru, and queen of all things kawaii.

Finally the bottom is an art trade I did with a girl on instagram whose page is @scribbleblog, she is an AMAZING artist, such a beautiful art style and SUCH clean lines. She uses colour like a pro.

So the relevance of this post is to let you know my creative plans! (I might even post about the business and admin side of my life for people who are doing the course I am going!).

On the note of my business and admin course I am doing, I've taken it upon myself to do more work than needed but if it gets me extra points I have no regret haha! In this course if you have extra marks it goes towards the next level (which for me is managerial).

I'm also going to be reviving my WIX blog for purely art purposes I need to get myself out there as I'm still not that out there as I'd like to be! I need to become a techno nerd fo sho.

I hope everyone is well! Let me know of your upcoming plans!

Review: Avengers: Age of Ultron

So today, it was my partners birthday (and his twins!) and we went to see the newest Avenger's film.

WARNING SPOILERS.

In all fairness I was pretty disappointed at the beginning, it just seemed to drag, I mean it was great meeting two new people with potential; but I felt the only time the movie started to pick up was when the Avenger team was at the party.

Overall I love the humour it entails, and some of the 'soppy' scenes but mainly I loved how the characters all intermingle.

Most people know of my love for the Hulk, and Mark Ruffalo! Even from the first films the Hulk has always been my favourite hero/avenger. I am known to have a bad temper sometimes and this is why people often say things like " Rosie SMASH Rosie BASH!" But things about the Hulk hit very close to home. I've always felt like I was some kind of monster doomed to walk the Earth alone, but lucky; I know I'm not a monster haha, but it's just the very idea in which I felt connected to his character.

As for the other characters:

Hawkeye - He really surprised me in the film with his beautiful family and the way he managed to keep them secret and safe for so long. Also the wittiness from his character is not always seen by everyone else. I feel like a lot of people find him, useless and boring but in this film he really proved his worth.

Quick Silver - I am disappointed how they have in the filming world of Marvel duplicated a character unnecessarily. Everyone know of the Quick Silver in the X-men film, but to make another seemed pretty pointless and pretty irrational. Otherwise I quite like this character in this film (although I by miles prefer the X-men quick silver), feel like because he was technically two of one whole that he was connected to someone with (his sister) and made him as a lovely older brother (which again I hit home with, with my brothers) so even though he's not my favourite Quick Silver but I still have a soft spot for him.

Black Widow- She's a pretty cool character. I've enjoyed seeing her back story a bit more, and it makes me what to read more into it. (I love back stories it is my weakness in a way). But I also share he love for the Hulk.

Captain America- I love how old fashioned he is, for example the whole joke in the film to him was about Tony Stark swearing and his response of "Langauge" but it was interesting to see how his character developed and you would feel how lost his character gets when most vulnerable.

Iron Man- As always he is cocky and full of himself but still as comical as every. His character never really changes as he is consumed by greed to create more and more.

Thor- I love how Thor is old school with history and the Gods, he follows the old ways as it were and keeps on the best path possible.

Pretty much my view on this film :)

Preferences with tradition and Digital Art

In my daily life, I'm drawn to certain songs, like most people, but in my mind I see images I want to create. This piece is a perfect example.

I don't expect a lot of people to understand why I draw because there is no real reason behind it... I once dreamed of being an Illustrator; but like most in life my dreams were shattered when people told me what I could and couldn't do limiting me. I know what I can do (sometimes really well) and I definitely know what I can't do or what my comfort zones are.

I am ABSOLUTELY crap at digital work, and it does upset me sometimes but I feel like when I am ready I will learn how to use it, but for now tradition is what I am really happy with using. It's not ALL digital I don't get on with. Remember MS paint from when they started to bring out better desktop computers? Yeah I was pretty good with a mouse! haha (I'm sure I'll show you all at some point!).

I have an art journal where I find some of the most personal (to me) quotes and I have a book that is sort of coming along! Which again I shall post within time.

If you wish to see more I'll add the link to my tumblr which I shall be adding to in the near future!

:)
